"Animal Owner or Caretaker's Verification of Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship"
 form MUST be presented upon arrival including out of state entries for livestock and rabbit exhibitors.

Department / Entry Rules - Market Swine


NOTICE:
  No breeding animals will be admitted to the Fair. Market Swine must weigh a minimum of 200 lbs. and maximum of 300 lbs.
One animal per exhibitor.

WATER NIPPLES MUST BE PROVIDED BY EXHIBITOR ON ARRIVAL AT WATERFORD FAIR

* Both barrows and gilts will be accepted; however, gilts must have been born after March 10, 2008, with proof of date of birth from the breeder. Market Swine will be divided into nearly equal classes or sub-classes by the Department Chairs and their representatives at their discretion. There will be a maximum of nine classes/sub-classes with a minimum of four animals per class/sub-class.

1 Light Weight Market Swine Each Class or Sub-class   $10.00 - $8.00 - $6.00 - $4.00 
2 Medium Weight Market Swine Each Class or Sub-class  $10.00 - $8.00 - $6.00 - $4.00 
3 Heavy Weight Market Swine Each Class or Sub-class  $10.00 - $8.00 - $6.00 - $4.00 
4 Grand Champion (Light, Medium, or Heavy Weight exhibits only)  Ribbon
5 Under Weight Market Swine  $10.00 - $8.00 - $6.00 - $4.00 

Entry Codes will be assigned by department head after weigh-in.
